DLCI Invites Applications for Its Board of Directors

The Drylands Learning and Capacity Building Initiative (DLCI) is seeking dedicated and experienced leaders to join its Board of Directors.

We are inviting three volunteer board members to help steer our mission of promoting inclusive governance, evidence-based learning, and sustainable development in drylands.
If you are dedicated to empowering pastoralist communities and influencing the strategic policy landscape of Kenya’s drylands, we encourage you to apply.

Available Positions & Required Expertise

We are seeking individuals with proven experience in at least one of the following key areas:
•⁠ ⁠Governance & Legal Oversight: Ensuring compliance, managing strategic risks, and maintaining healthy organizational operations.
•⁠ ⁠Resource Mobilization: Building strategic partnerships, enhancing philanthropic efforts, and securing long-term funding.
•⁠ ⁠Drylands Policy & Advocacy: Shaping national and regional policies, land tenure security, and supporting pastoralist livelihoods.

•⁠ ⁠Position Type: – Volunteer (Board of Directors)
•⁠ ⁠Term Duration: three (3) Years (with renewal option)
